Before Sri Harikrishna Agencies, was Mookambikai Cones. Selling traditional goods has been in our family for three generations. This was run by my grandfather — Mr. S Dhanapal. We originally sold cones made of sandal and sambrani, then slowly expanded to selling other traditional items. In 1990, after my birth, my father — Mr. D. Shanmugam, founded and named this store as Sri Harikrishna Agencies. Initially selling agarbathis, poojai/homam items, we quickly expanded our business, and began selling all sorts of traditional items. Dasangam, Pasunchana Vibuthi, Pooja Saaman and ‘naattu marundhu’ are a few of our endless products. We started off selling agarbathis, and slowly built up our variety of products as more and more people came.

Soon, we had a variety of options for traditional goods — from A to Z. Items needed for homams and poojais were all soon available at the store. Aside from the main store, we are also dealers for agarbathis. We deal to stores in Trichy, Chennai, and many stores across the state and even across the globe. From Products of Kangaroo, Trichy TPRG and Buvaneshwari from Trichy , to sithanadhan vibuthi, verati, sarai, samithu and pooja items, traditional medicinal herbs, our store offers endless options for our culture-rich customers. Today, we are situated in West Mambalam. It fills me with pride to take my father’s reigns, and to call our store one of the few traditional stores that carries a trademark.
